Figure 2.1 displays a screen capture of step 1: name search in GeoSuite 2006. The top of the screen displays a menu bar with File, Tools and Help, as well as a toolbar with buttons used to perform various functions in the GeoSuite 2006 software (print, help, close, etc.). Below this is a selection window where the name of the place you are searching for can be inputted (in this case, the locality of Gibsons, British Columbia) or the desired level of geography can be selected. Once the search is completed and a place is selected, tab folders with information related to your search item are displayed for viewing (2006 Census Info, Geographic Levels, 2001 Census Info). At the bottom right corner of the screen capture are two buttons, one to return to the Main Menu, the other called Next that enables you to make further selection related to your search topic.
